Time To Close The Gaps: Collaboration Creates Currency In Action

Recently, I sent a text to my Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity brother and asked him:

"What would you say are the top 3 gaps (challenges/obstacles) you want to close in your current role as you enter 2026?"

His response:

"Hmmmm🤔.   Thats an excellent question.  I want to think on that one"

I proceeded to encourage him to do the following in order to close the gaps:

• Think of the task or responsibilities you have on your plate or the roadblocks that are preventing you from reaching the goals you must accomplish in your current role. 

• Make a list of those gaps. Not to overwhelm you, but to keep in mind so that you can attract or leverage people in your network that can close those gaps with their gifts.

Questions to consider:

1. What gaps are you looking to close in your current role at work, at home, at school, in your life? (Make A List)

2. Who in your network has the gift to assist you with closing your gaps?
