How often are you collecting LinkedIn Recommendations from your clients and customers?
If you're not asking your clients or customers to share their positive experience with you and your company, you're missing out on one of the most powerful ways to increase your Visibility and Credibility on LinkedIn.
A LinkedIn Recommendation is valuable because it shows the marketplace how your service made an impact upon another person. When people read the testimonial, they will begin to see you a viable resource and as a solution when they have a problem that you can solve.
Testimonials are a form or borrowed credibility that influences how people make their buying decisions. But if you're not leveraging LinkedIn Recommendations, how will the prospect you are persuing know what separates you from your competition?
Additionally, LinkedIn Recommendations increase your visibility.
How so?
Well, once a person gives you a LinkedIn Recommendation, it not only shows up on your profile, it shows up on theirs. What does this mean for you? It means, when people are looking at your client's profile, they will stumble upon the LinkedIn Recommendation they gave you and it will prompt the person to look at your profile.
